olav.art vs ChatGPT
I use ChatGPT for some of my art, and I’ve noticed something weird. Whenever I’m cooking up something fresh – something I haven’t posted yet – my X feed suddenly fills with similar themes, effects, and imagery. They weren’t there before. And now they’re everywhere, all with that unmistakable ChatGPT vibe.
I don’t actually mind the sharing – I use AI too, so I know I’m standing on others’ shoulders. But the timing kills me. By the time I’m ready to post my series, it’ll look like I’m the one following trends, not setting them.
So I’m posting my unfinished pieces now, just to put my name on them. The polished versions will follow when they’re ready.
